@scousericey And after the half hour walk to James Street you find that the station can’t cope with the number of passengers on the platform so it stops the lifts running and that leads to a build up of people outside.

@DANIELBRIDGE10@Tony_Scott11 Great Howard Street was closed. The bus to town is stop start due to the gridlock and usually takes around 20 minutes to go 2 miles.
@JayMagee6@merseyrail The match finished at 21-40 . This photo seems to show the chaos at Sandhills an hour later. No wonder people leave the match before the end.
@Dullard_is_Back@VincenzoGrappa Jimmy Gabriel was a great Everton player who played a key role in the 1966 cup winning side. This would be a great signing for Everton.
@Benjwinst Massive understatement. Look at the squad list at the back of the programme for the ManU game. We are 9 players short in our squad if we want to compete with Man U.
@CitizenSuburbia You’d expect the Friedkins to understand that they need to invest in the team for their club valuation to grow. How did selling the clubs best young player fit into their long term plan ?
@JNSNO1878 Merseyrail is struggling to cope on match day. Queueing is bad at Sandhills but it’s also bad at James Street for those of us who walked back into town. The station can’t cope with the numbers of passengers trying to use the lifts to get down to the platform.
@EvertonViews I took the soccer bus from Lime Street when I went to the Palace game. It took 25 minutes from when I got on to getting off at the stadium. First of all we had to wait 10 mins for the bus to fill up. Then it was stop start through the gridlock along the road. I’ve not got it back
@cwwickham@Everton@WayneRooney I don’t think he could lead the line like a traditional centre forward but he could certainly come on and attack from a wide right or left position.
@CBeesleyEcho@LivEchoEFC Just read the interview with the Arsenal CEO who says their ambition is to become one of the world’s super-clubs. I’d ask the Friedkins what is their ambition. If it’s to become a shambolic mess of a club they’ve certainly achieved that.
@AIlEverton Kinnear as and his recruitment team have made so many key mistakes. Trying to sell Armstrong. Signing Norgard when he’s injured. Low fee for Ndiaye. Selling Beto before we had Balogun . Will Kinnear show leadership now by speaking to the fans. Or will he hide away.
