You see the disdain at which some doctors are attacking patients, it has nothing to do with if they are competent or not.

Those kids will become terror cell leaders in another 8 years as teenagers. A problem the next President will have to confront and the cycle continues. They have an endless number to recruit from and radicalise. For now, they function as a shield.

Those who deny the place of religion and radicalisation in this ideological war are playing a dumb game. The problem will continue for as long as the root causes aren't addressed - poverty, illiteracy and religious radicalisation.

What will another 15 years of fighting terrorists and Banditry cost the country in financial and non financial cost. This problem started in 2008 / 09 and despite the bombings and the military onslaught, they keep increasing in size and might.

There are over 200 Okadas in several clusters on Castle Rock Road. The number keeps growing as if someone comes to drop them in batches of 40 weekly. Bikes are banned but the state can't enforce basic rules.

Nobody knows where these guys are from? How do over 200 unknown guys with bikes suddenly appear in a community? Who procured the bikes for them? A bike now costs over N1million. What is the source of funding for the bikes?

The police at the Maroko division are only concerned about stopping people driving flashy cars. The state is on autopilot.

This is actually a very good question. When Dangote tried to got into the textile industry, things were a bit different. The biggest being that Nigeria mostly wore woven fabric (Ankara, shirting etc). Operating a woven factory is very complex and even at that time, a lot of the machinery that already being used were a bit outdated, so efficiency had dropped.

In our case now, most people are wearing knitwear (t-shirts, underwear, polos etc.), and producing textile for these isn’t as complex and can be modular. Example our textile mill makes 20-40 tons per month (enough for just 100-200,000 tshirts) which isn’t a lot but gives us enough flexibility to adapt to market forces. Also the available machines now are of similar quality with what’s being used everywhere else in the world, so efficiency is about the same.

Put all these together and having a great team (I’m incredibly lucky), operating efficiently, having a large Nigeria and West African population, we have a higher chance of success now. We’ve also been around since 2019 and we’ve been going stronger and stronger.

I did a comparative study of dividend reinvestment vs. cash payout (GTCO)

This shows the analysis of the impact of reinvesting dividends using GTCO as our primary example. The goal was to see how a ₦100,000 initial investment in January 2021 would perform over five years under two different strategies.

Investor A: Cash Out
Investor B: Reinvested

•Investor A (Cash Out): By keeping their share count fixed and spending all dividends, their 2025 annual income was ₦39,261.
•Investor B (Reinvested): By using dividends to buy more shares each year, their 2025 annual income grew to ₦55,378.

The reinvestment strategy generated 41% more annual passive income than the cash-out strategy by the fifth year.

Core Insights:
1. Unit Accumulation: The strategy was most effective in 2022. While the market was flat and prices were low (~₦21.00), the reinvestment allowed for the acquisition of more "free" units.

2. The Multiplier Effect: Because Investor B entered 2025 with a larger share count (approx. 4,340 units vs. 3,077), they benefited significantly more from GTCO's record-breaking ₦12.76 total dividend.

3.) Efficiency: This 41% increase in income was achieved without the investor contributing any additional capital beyond the initial ₦100,000.

As a recipient of this grant, I am deeply honored to represent Lagos State University (LASU) and my startup, Dimroid Technologies, through our project D‑Rentals.

D‑Rentals was built to kill the scam culture around student housing in Nigeria. We use AI‑powered student matchups, school‑backed tenant–landlord resolution, receipt storage, and verified listings to redefine how students find and secure housing. The platform was inspired by the shared pain of every LASU student who has dealt with fake agents and lost deposits. The SVCG grant validates this vision and gives us the runway to scale D‑Rentals and make housing safer for students across Nigeria.

Yes, Islam permits polygamy. But Islam does not allow incapable hands to go into polygamy and up North, the most people into polygamy are incapable. they just want to have wanton sex. these are sexually crazed dumbos

The state and federal govt. should find a design around polygamy and make it a crime if an incapable person tries to go into it and this should not be only up North. it should be on a national level

This is not good enough from the Nigeria Police Force - not by any stretch of decency or law.

The said DPO is not merely criminally minded; he appears possessed by a dangerous abuse of power, one who would gladly frame an innocent citizen simply to exploit, extort, and export him into the dark tunnels of the system. This is not the policing we know.

Judging from my admittedly rusty and limited knowledge of the law, this DPO has committed no fewer than seven grievous crimes and offences, and therefore deserves no protection under the cloak of anonymity.

1. Abuse of Office / Abuse of Power -
This officer weaponized his official position to intimidate, harass, and punish an innocent citizen whose only crime was humanity.

2. Unlawful Arrest and Detention -
There was no reasonable suspicion of murder - none whatsoever - yet this individual detained a Good Samaritan, not in the interest of justice, but for selfish and sinister ends.

3. Violation of the Right to the Dignity of the Human Person-
The humiliation, threats, and psychological assault meted out were a direct affront to constitutional protections.

4. False Imprisonment -
Liberty was unlawfully restrained without cause, evidence, or lawful justification.

5. Malicious Prosecution / Threat of Same -
Threatening a murder charge while knowing there was no evidence is legal terrorism.

6. Extortion -

7. Illegal Collection of Bail / Corruption -
Bail, which the law clearly states is free, was monetized and violently extracted.

And the list goes on.

When pickpockets and petty Yahoo boys are arrested, they are paraded, shamed, and subjected to public ridicule. This criminally minded DPO should not be spared the very spectacle he routinely inflicts on others.

Let justice wear no blindfold here.
Let the law have no favourites.
