Bastrop State Park is performing a prescribed burn today near SH21 of approx. 350 acres.

Expect a large smoke column and wind shifts throughout the day may cause smoky conditions outside the area of the burn.

Bastrop Fire and Bastrop County Emergency Services District #2 are on the scene of a structure fire at 1407 Main Street. The fire is currently contained to the residence at that location and there are no injuries to report at this time.
