@omprabhu@goodbyeLMJ By that metric there aren’t even 10 top 10 qb’s. You’d have Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Stafford, Darnold Rodgers and Hurts. You’d also have to say Flacco is top 10 despite being backup to Burrow who also wouldn’t be top 10.
Ossoff: Who won the 2020 election?
Clayton: I’m not going to get into that with you.
Ossoff: Isn't it humiliating to be unable to answer this question, to have to indulge the president's delusions?
@Brett_qpr@ar1ma927@USMNTTAKES It’s almost like the group responsible for the rule of red suspension in future matches have decided which match is appropriate to be suspended, yes.
@Brett_qpr@ar1ma927@USMNTTAKES And FIFA (the rule makers you’re referring to) then decided to look into the matter and decide this was improperly enforced. If you’re all for rules, laws, and authority, you can’t simultaneously say their rules and VAR review are right but they themselves are wrong.
@neur0nix_@catholiclawyer@ESPNFC@BelRedDevils There are suspensions but usually done for repeated infractions or illegal activity outside of matches. They’re also pretty controversial additions to the rules (see: targeting) and even they can only take a player out of half of the next game at most.
@neur0nix_@catholiclawyer@ESPNFC@BelRedDevils Americans may be an ignorant lot, but if there’s one thing consistent in their sports culture it’s wanting to compete with both sides at full strength. They would hate a tainted win if KDB or Lukaku was injured or suspended by a bullshit red card from another game.
@DuckAxe@duckdynasty@0xaiwa@shaunmmaguire A tackle or challenge is needed though, hard to argue either of those coming from an off balance man not even facing the player he is supposedly challenging. For trying so hard here I think you might be the one who needs to check the rulebook again.
@CarilonCapital@ArthurBoreman He’s not even looking at the man he’s supposedly “challenging” and you can literally see him get knocked off balance and start sliding/rotating because of it. This was clearly a mid air player landing awkwardly, not a challenge or lunge.
@animaloo1_@BConrad1027@HausenKS I do as well, been playing/following soccer since I was a schoolboy. That red would require intent as a tackle or reckless challenge, neither of which happened as this was a tangle of legs. Easily should have called a foul and yellow.
@Jim_O_Thee@fleasammy@CurtisDaly_ I don’t think your caps lock has considered that this happens frequently in places that do not have rent control, or in places that place some of these costs on the renter anyways. The fact that a landlord does not have to require proof of what you’re saying to do it is an issue.
