If anyone wants to know the actual reason Goldsmiths pulled out of this deal, it’s because they are in dire financial straits - as has been widely reported.

The Green administration in Lewisham was fully supportive of the Catford campus plans, and Goldsmiths has made no suggestion that our policies played any role in this decision.
