Uruguay dice presente en @ENC_EN y logra la clasificación directa en Chess de la mano de Greorg Meier @GMGeorgMeier , el gran maestro de ajedrez 🇺🇾👏 que gracias a su desempeño individual consigue la primera clasificación para la celeste.

Aún hay chance de anotarse en la qualy de chess que mantiene la posibilidad de tener otro represenate nacional ya que en disiplinas individuales pueden competir hasta 2 personas por país en el evento principal.

Uruguay may be small in scale, but inside the phygital ecosystem it is already behaving like one of the region’s strongest competitors.

In our interview with @batcat987, President of the Uruguayan Association of Virtual and Phygital Sports (@AUDVesports), he explained how the country has continued building its presence through Rivals tournaments, stronger national competition and a growing commitment to the format.

For García, Uruguay’s sporting identity matters. From Peñarol becoming the first football champion in Games of the Future history to the expansion of national phygital events, the country has managed to position itself far beyond its size.

“Uruguay is already one of the leaders in phygital sport. We made history from a small nation.”

Peñarol logra la clasificación directa a los @officialgotf Astana 🇰🇿 en Julio 2026 en Fútbol entrando por ranking entre los 4 mejores equipos y será el representante uruguayo por tercera vez consecutiva de Uruguay.

Mientras tanto en Phygital dancing se clasificó al Phygital contenders a dsiputarse en Astana el próximo junio, y buscara presencialmente entrar a los Games Of The Future en esta disciplina.

A Nivel de rankings la AUDV quedo entre el Top 10 de mejores organizaciones de Phygital en el mundo en el puesto número 8, un gran logro en base a seguir ampliando las diciplinas phigital en Uruguay año a año.
