First defeat of the season yesterday in the second round of the cup. Better team won on the day. Lots of positives come from the game though! We go for the title now boys 👊

First game at home for a month this weekend. Hodgson Cup 2nd Round. Against @SpursOldBoys (Reserves) be a tough test. They’re battling for promotion in the division above. Batley Grammar school. Food on after the match at the pheasant pub,Birstall for the players.

7-3 win today against @ShireAcademics not the best performance. Tricky surface didn’t help. But another win. 4/4 👊

Good win today against @CentraliansAFC in the cup. 11-1 final score. Blustery at times 👀 into the 2nd round. @bordy19 with 10 of them @jayeddybee with the other. I think the keeper might be in pinderfields burns unit after that goal.

@CentraliansAFC constantly getting on refs back with decisions. Everything built up. One of their lads run on pitch off bench. Refs warned it’d be abandoned if it happened again. Went 3-1 up, inevitable happened. And to top it off their lads decided to hang about. Give our striker a cheap shot.

Winning 3-1 vs Saville United. The only other team with a 100% record. And... 71 minutes played...match abandoned. They’re a very good team, but let themselves down because of their conduct! And their inability to accept that for 66 minutes they’ve been played of the park!
