Brazil could easily have lost their heads against Japan. They trailed 1-0, looked flat and were heading out of the World Cup.
But one man was certain to stay calm.
Carlo Ancelotti’s experience shone through in how he masterminded a second-half turnaround – and showed why Brazil hired him.

5x UCL Winner…..I think Carlo Ancelotti is the greatest knockout football coach in history, and if he wins this World Cup, it will only reinforce that claim. Knockout football is a completely different game from league football. It isn’t always about dominating possession or creating the most chances, it’s about solving problems in real time, staying calm under immense pressure, and making decisive adjustments when everything seems to be going against you. That has always been Ancelotti’s biggest strength.
Time and time again throughout his career, his teams have gone behind, been outplayed for periods, or looked destined to crash out, yet somehow he’s always finding the right tactical tweak, the right substitution, or simply the right message to turn the game around. That can’t be luck surely, that’s a pattern.
What impressed me most today was how composed he remained after Brazil conceded. There was no panic on the touchline, no rushed decisions. He identified where Japan were hurting his team, made the necessary adjustments, and gradually took control of the game. That’s the difference between a good coach and a truly elite knockout coach.
If he goes on to lift the World Cup with Brazil, it would be the ultimate proof that his brilliance isn’t limited to club football. Winning countless knockout ties in Europe is one thing, but conquering the biggest international tournament would put him in a category of his own. At that point, I don’t think there would be much left to debate about who the greatest knockout manager in football history is.
Pada tahun 2022, Gabriel Martinelli merefleksikan masa kecilnya, menceritakan betapa ia mencintai sepak bola, namun tak begitu bermimpi untuk menjadi seorang profesional.
Sampai akhirnya, Piala Dunia tiba.

"Jepang membuat kami kesulitan selama 95 menit.

Eberechi Eze will be back to Selhurst Park lifting Premier League trophy with Arsenal. The universe could not write a better script for that man. A fanboy turned into player, with the embrace of the team who raised him and wished him well when he left. It all worked out. ❤️
ARSENAL. EMANG. LAYAK. JUARA.
SELAMAT!
Gimana pun, mereka tim terbaik musim ini. Kenapa terbaik? Karena mereka punya kontrol, karena mereka mampu membuat lawan tak mampu menembus pertahanan mereka. Mereka juga menemukan solusi cetak gol.
