One of the greatest miscarriages of justice in British legal history ✉️
Mr Bates vs The Post Office starts 1st January at 9pm on ITV1 and @ITVX 👏 #MrBates
This is good news. @cintopress are an imprint of @bathpublishing who published The Great Post Offie Scandal when no one else would. Good people and a fine new acquisition.
[As we said at the top this is a preliminary, preliminary hearing, so currently arguing about what the argument is so that arguments about the argument can be made at a later date]

A family judge found to have abused their adopted children applied to the high court for anonymity - and has been granted it, despite the media arguing to name them. My @ObserverUK comment piece on a scandal; first, the child abuse, then the cover up: https://t.co/3WYMIjf45v

As per my pinned tweet, I am writing another book about the Post Office called The Great Post Office Cover-Up.
Coincidentally I am spending this week digging into what was happening behind the scenes whilst the Post Office was busy attempting to ruin Lee on his first visit to the High Court. Important information which could have helped Lee's case was deliberately withheld by the Post Office. The court was given false information.
My book will detail how and where the Post Office, government and Fujitsu lied, lied and lied again to keep the truth from the public, MPs and Subpostmasters. It will name those responsible.
The book will NOT be available until AFTER the Post Office Inquiry reports, but if you want to pre-order it from the publishers now (link in pinned tweet) I would be most grateful.
The limited edition signed hardbacks are nearly sold out, but the book (as paperback and hardback) is on pre-sale cheaper than it will be in the shops.
It's going to be interesting to see where Lee's case goes. I hope it reaches a resolution before we send the book to the publishers. If not I can see I'm going to have write a bloody trilogy, especially if we do start to see some prosecutions crank up in 2027/8.
The appeal @hansummers & I are bringing against the ban on identifying judges involved in the historic Sara Sharif family law cases is listed tomorrow, in public, in front of the Master of the Rolls, King & Warby, and will be livestreamed - new link here: https://t.co/IXvnxDggnf
Great to see front page coverage by @theipaper for the four Post Office campaigners honoured today - but just as important is the message that the fight for proper redress is - scandalously - still ongoing @CastletonLee @SeemaMisra7 @chrish9070@JoHamil73963257
Congratulations @nickwallis for winning The Radio Times Screen Test Awards for his work on #TheGreatPostOfficeTrial@BBCRadio4 series - a well deserved triumph 🏆

The @WhistledownProd and @BBCRadio4 series The Great Post Office Trial has won another gong - a @RadioTimes Screen Test award. I was convinced we weren’t going to win and so didn’t prepare anything and was so weirdly nervous in front of big beast media professionals i completely failed to mention by name the most important person involved after the extraordinary Subpostmasters who so kindly told us their stories.
In a cack-handed attempt to put that right please put your hands together for Bob Nicholson (who is so cool he appears to have left Twitter), the genius behind that series. This one’s for you man. Thanks again to the Subpostmasters, R4 (esp controller Mohit Bakaya) @WhistledownProd’s David, Emma and Will, the huge number of professionals and politicians who also contributed on tape and to the listeners, readers, Twitter users and secret emailers who voted for the series to win.
Right then, back to the Inquiry….
