BREAKING: Dangote Refinery has raised its petrol (PMS) gantry price by ₦20, from ₦1,165 to ₦1,185 per litre, effective today, August 21.

The increase comes as Brent crude rises above $93/barrel amid renewed geopolitical tensions.

Despite the hike, Dangote’s price remains below several Lagos depot rates and the estimated petrol import landing cost of about ₦1,218/litre.

The refinery has also raised diesel by ₦100, taking it to ₦1,670/litre.

Pump prices could see upward adjustments in the coming days as marketers factor in logistics and other costs.

Nigeria’s FX forwards turnover jumped 263.56% to $90.89m, even as total weekly FX turnover fell 44.9% to $2.055bn, driven by a sharp decline in spot trading.
