To understand why you’re seeing a coordinated attack on the Catholic faith, you must understand what the Catholic Church teaches about the 1948 nationstate of Israel, and the building of the temple, which seems to be the goal of this war framed by many as a holy war for the soul of Israel, which will summon the messiah and bring about the events of revelations. Only then can you understand why Catholics are being positioned as the enemy, and our teachings are being strategically and publicly misrepresented as “antisemitism”.
1. Jesus Christ fulfilled the Old Testament temple (John 2:19-21: "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up"
referring to His body).
2. With the fulfillment of the covenant, the Church is “God’s Israel” (Galatians 6)
3. A physical Third Temple, if ever built, would not restore valid sacrifices (Christ's sacrifice on the Cross was once-for-all, Hebrews 9-10).
4. Attempts to rebuild it are seen as misguided and even antichristic in spirit (rejecting Christ's fulfillment and end of sacrifices), with some historical precedents like Emperor Julian the Apostate's failed effort viewed as a type of Antichrist activity. Prominent voices (such as Fr. Chad Ripperger) argue the temple will never be rebuilt, as Christ ended the old sacrificial system.
5. The temple is the place where they made the animal sacrifices. Those are no longer necessary.
6. Only God knows the day of Revelation. (Matthew 24:36)
7. Followers of Christ are the new chosen people, grafted into the line of Abraham. (Roman’s 11:17)
8. No bloodline is ranked above another anymore. (Romans 3:22)
9. All are welcome in the church, with repentance, baptism, and a belief that Jesus is Lord. Jews and Gentiles alike. (Roman’s 3:22)
10. Vatican documents that interpret and expand upon the Catechism's teachings clarify that the existence of the State of Israel should be viewed strictly through the lens of international law, and not a religious or theological perspective as Jesus Christ fulfilled the covenants. Terms met.
“If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.”
-Matthew 15:18
unrelated but i love how whenever batman shows up in this show it’s with this badass guitar riff. he should have that in everything ever from here on out
‘isnt battinson too young to have a robin’ thats the point. dick grayson becomes robin in batman’s third year merely because bruce felt his pain, saw a kid he wanted to rescue. he was inexperienced, he wasnt prepared to deal with a mourning 9 year old. thats the point
JD Vance and that Hillbilly Elegy bullshit always remind me of when I had an internship at a rural food bank and I constantly had to deal with impoverished white people complaining to staff anytime they perceived a non-white food bank client as undeserving. /1
1. On Monday, a federal judge dropped an extraordinarily important decision.
It has received ZERO media attention.
In 1871, Congress passed the Ku Klux Klan Act, which allowed people to sue law enforcement officers who violated their Constitutional rights. It was intended to curb white supremacist violence against Black Americans.
In 1967, the Supreme Court flipped it on its head.
They "interpreted" the Ku Klux Klan Act to provide "qualified immunity" to law enforcement officers who violate Constitutional rights in "good faith." It has allowed law enforcement officers who abuse their power to escape accountability.
A federal judge, Carlton Reeves, just issued a powerful ruling urging the Supreme Court to acknowledge its mistake and repeal the doctrine of qualified immunity.
Follow along if interested.

I have seen a ton of obviously used consumer electronics in Iraq. But my favorite electronics story is the day I realized I couldn't plug a card reader into myipad, and I needed to upload some audio. A lightning to SD card device does exist, so I goggled for apple retailers
