No doubt that talent is no shortage on talent in Pakistan, but it’s raw with limited exposure, technique incompetent at international standards. If compared to the talent that Pakistan had in the 80-90’s, there is great contrast. The skills & temperament is somewhere lost.

اور بات یہاں تک پہنچ گئی کہ مجھے تین سال کیلئے رکھا گیا تھا اور میں تین ماہ کے بعد مستعفی ہوگیا عاقب جاوید کی وجہ سے اور یہ بات میں نے اسوقت بھی پریس کانفرنس میں کہی تھی اگر مجھے یہ ٹیم اب بھی حوالے کریں عاقب جاوید کو ہٹاکر میں اس ٹیم میں چند تبدیلیاں کروں گا اور پاکستان ٹیسٹ ٹیم کو دوبارہ دنیا کی بہترین ٹیسٹ بناسکتا ہوں کیونکہ پاکستان میں ٹیلنٹ کی کمی نہیں ہے لیکن کمی اس بات کی ہے کہ جن کھلاڑیوں کو آگے آنا چاہئے ان کا راستہ روکا ہوا ہیں
