Son (18) charged with assaulting his gf. She's 16. Intervention order in place - he can't go within 100m. She contacted me to tell me. I told her it was not her fault. It was never her fault.
Apparently, she's dropped the charges.
I'm lost for words.

Today was a bad day. The 17 yo got punched in the face last night. He called first thing this morning saying he needed to see a Dr. I was there within 30mins. Two hours of emotional & psychological abuse. I was scared & anxious, my heart pounding.

A positive in a world of darkness. Our daughter (14) has reignited her love of reading. She has read 10+ novels so far this year. She relishes the smell & feel when getting a new book. I think reading is her escape. #cpv @colleenhoover
