@afkghostgirl one of my friends who im used to taking my shoes off when i visit had a big party n i kept my shoes on bc there was a lot of back n forth between inside outside n the garage. someone i had never met before had a big bday party n i took my shoes off bc we were exclusively inside

@afkghostgirl this is still so interesting bc regardless of my relationship w the host i will judge if im wearing shoes based off if they request shoes be taken off, the size n energy of the party, n if it branches off into outside and/or a garage instead of just inside the house

@diceydarkiplier fair fair usually u can tell from the energy right off the bat if shoes are the move or not unless ur like one of the first ppl there then u ask the host but after a handful of ppl are there everyone is gna see them either with or without shoes n follow suit

this is also why its important to have unique shoes bc if u just got some scuffed air forces or sumn… so does everybody else have fun lookin for them in the pile at the front door. like i have converse which is also usually miserable BUT theyre beat to shit n the laces are stars

this is so interesting to me bc as a canadian where it is standard to take ur shoes off in someones home the general rule is shoes off. if its very large lots of ppl, ppl are going inside n outside a lot, or its focused in a garage then shoes probs staying on but otherwise…
