Maybe we should normalize the idea that there exist two realities: the internal and the external.

Our internal reality is just as real as the external reality, but our internal reality has no baring on the external reality, only how you choose to behave within it.

@elonmusk Depends on the system. If your lies boost confidence, there is the possibility that that confidence will trigger more improvement than laying flaws out in the open. If you can't trust your system to learn itself, then your system will not succeed.
