DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. In 2025 the highest numbers of reported cases were recorded with 1/3 women and 1/5 men affected. In the UK, on a typical day domestic violence hotlines receive over 21,000 calls even though on average a victim will have been abused 35 times before they seek help for the first time. 15 million children will also witness domestic abuse each year - that will drastically affect their mental and emotional health, education and development. UK charities are shamefully underfunded and are desperate to raise money to help victims and their families whilst the UK Government currently spends 9.2 BILLION on Foreign Aid - 10% of that funding would change THOUSANDS of British lives. FOUR MEN. ONE GIRL. She was 13 when they started on her.

Dewsbury and Ossett, 1990s. Zahid Hussain dragged her by the hair into a room at a party and forced himself on her. That was the beginning. Other men followed. By the time Jagtar Sahota got to her, she was already broken down and he knew it. He gave her a job. Paid her more than the others. Then r*ped her repeatedly across his properties, his vehicles, his businesses. 23 counts. He knew exactly what he was doing.

All four convicted. 21 years, 11 years, 10 and a half years, 12 months.

She reported this in adulthood. Gave evidence twice. Carried this for thirty years while these men got on with their lives.

This isn't rare. This is a pattern that plays out in towns across this country, over and over, and keeps ending the same way, with a survivor in the witness box decades later, and men who should have been stopped long ago finally facing consequences.
