Per the police report obtained by CNN, Hayden Panettiere was with her on-and-off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson when she died.

Hickerson physically abused Hayden during their relationship. He had been arrested numerous times & was sentenced for 45 days on two felony accounts of injuring his girlfriend.

Hayden wrote extensively about this in her memoir, writing, "One night he busts up my face so badly I don’t leave the house for weeks."

Just days before Hayden's sudden death, a judge rejected Hickerson's attempt to reduce/clear his felony charges related to physical abuse toward Hayden.

Her cause of death is still pending, but dispatch audio obtained by CNN signals a possible overdose.
