I've been exploring the 2001 Cronus developed VN "Dokidoki Princess" & I think my favorite thing about it is its beautifully illustrated BGs. I wish they were in higher resolution!
Did you know the Sega Saturn version of "DESIRE" featured lip-syncing? The game utilized an "auto vowel selecting system" (or AVSS) that matched spoken vowels to specific mouth shapes. This feature carried over into future re-releases of the game.
