100 years ago today 🏆
More than 98,000 people were present at Hampden Park to witness St Mirren winning the Scottish Cup for the first time in our history.
Goals from Davie McCrae and Jimmy Howieson saw the Buddies defeat Celtic 2-0 at the National Stadium on April 10th 1926.
John Cochrane managed a side of Bradford, Findlay, Newbiggin, Morrison, Summers, McDonald, Morgan, Gebbie, McCrae, Howieson, Thomson to glory.
100 years on, we will take on Celtic again at Hampden for the chance to reach the 2026 Final.
Back in the starting lineup and back in amongst the goals 👊
Lovely footwork before a terrific low finish from Jonah Ayunga on his first start since injury in December.
🔲 Back-to-back wins for McLeish's St Mirren
🔴 Return to forget for Dons boss Robinson
St Mirren are now two points off eighth after a 2-0 win over Aberdeen, as Stephen Robinson lost on his return to Paisley, with Aberdeen just three points clear of 11th spot ⤵️
