Our 2021 - 2022 Teachers of the Year were selected by their peers for innovating in the classroom, building relationships with students and showcasing leadership on campus. Thank you Methodist Midlothian for helping us honor our teachers! https://t.co/Dz5qkJqbgR #MISDProud
Honoring those who fought and served to protect our freedoms. Thank you third grade, @TEBaxterMusic and thank you Veterans! Happy Veterans Day! #baxtersbest#MISDProud
Some of our Student Honor Council students had the opportunity to tour the Inside MISD group that was visiting Baxter today. Very proud of these young men and women, they did a great job of showcasing the great things we have and do at Baxter! #baxtersbest
Power has been restored at all MISD campuses. Classes will resume as normal tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22. Thank you for your patience as the district, city, and electric providers worked collaboratively to restore power as quickly as possible. Have a great evening!
Due to this evening’s storm resulting in a widespread power outage, Midlothian ISD is canceling classes tomorrow, Oct. 21. Principals, assistant principals, custodial and maintenance, along with L.A. Mills Administration staff will report at 8 a.m. at their normal location.
Friendly reminder to our parents that Wednesday and Thursday are early release days for our elementary students! Classes dismiss at 12:30 p.m. for parent-teacher conferences. #MISDProud
The Baxter’s Best Fun Run is kicking off in just 3 WEEKS! This year, we’re raising funds for canopies for the outdoor dining area and campus murals, and we need your help! Watch the video below to learn about how our upcoming #Boosterthon fundraiser works

Hanging with @Moore0317 second grade class and listening to @Flipgrid headquarters read a story about “chasing the grouchies away!” Great ideas for turning frowns upside down! #baxtersbest#MISDProud
Two new Baxter Buds joined the fleet this morning! Pair that with a beautiful sunrise and that means a GREAT THURSDAY! #baxtersbest#baxterbuds#MISDProud
