Celebrity culture heavily relies on people being interested in what a celebrity offers online. Without fans, what even is a celebrity?

In regards to celebrity culture in media, whether it's a kind of influencer or A-list celebrity, the platform they use to communicate and promote would not be efficient if there weren't people(fans) engaging in the content.

@KateAtDeakin Issues regarding politics and participation would overall be much more beneficial to study for a reflection of the effect of media on individuality and community.
@KateAtDeakin As described through a critical response from Christine Hine(2001) and Tara McPherson(2000), identity is not as important to study in regards to cybercultural studies as it has been reflected on too much already, and fails to recognise the deeper meaning of web page production.
As we reach closer to the Assessment 1 due date, it’s important to remember to have breaks and look after yourself! Get some fresh air, watch an episode of your favourite show, read a chapter of a book. You can do it!

'Privacy' is something that we often forget about when active on social media. Sometimes we may share something about ourselves either through posts or stories that may seem like it's a harmless projection, but can also lead to something a lot bigger. (1/4)
On the other hand however, being completely open on social media about your issues and/or experiences can provoke feelings of connectivity to followers due to the authenticity it can project. People who might have experienced similar circumstances would feel understood- (3/4)
