However, there's vast difference between my situation in both of these pictures - 12 years apart.

You know what I can tell you genuinely was the same - the joy and contentment I felt at every of my life's journey.

I have never coveted another man's - not when I was in lack, not when I was in need.

I have never looked at another man's plate and wanted his buffet, because I don't know the backstory of how he toiled for it.

I never looked up to the Heavens and screamed: "why me?"

I locked in on my cross with joy, daydreamt everyday & decided I wanted to be happy with what I found around me because what will be will be, and I cannot wait for life to pan out on my terms before I decide to be happy.

This is the greatest gift my mother gave me. Contentment.

There will always be people ahead of you, there will always be people behind you. Your life, your timing.
