Not that they matter, but here are some of my thoughts on the #NHLJets this season:
- I wrote earlier this season (more than once) that this team and that dressing room felt different. I think we know why now. They showed it, especially in Game 6, but not exclusively.
Kelly Moore asked Scott Arniel what tonight's "Hockey Fights Cancer" game means to him personally.
Arniel appreciated the question.
"I lost my dad to cancer a few years ago. And my brother is still fighting cancer. He's got multiple myeloma. He's been an unbelievable trooper."
For me, I think of my two uncles who died from cancer. My mom's close friend who beat it. Our beloved colleague Ted Wyman, who recently passed away.
And I wish that were the whole list. I'm sure you wish your list was shorter, too.
