Let me tell you something…I have had my share of hateration, jealously and meanness towards me. But I am surrounded by love and protected by those that love me. On this date, February 21, 1965, my greatest hero ever, MALCOLM X, was assassinated. I did not even know who he was until I got to college, because of absence of Black anything in my education K-12. But reading his autobiography at age 18 electrified me, changed my life forever.
