🚨 BREAKING: St. Mary’s Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia is closing its Mother and Baby Unit because of Trump and the Republicans’ “Big Beautiful Bill.”

Mothers and newborns will now have to travel an hour to Athens. The hospital said the decision was due in part to Congressional cuts to Medicaid in Trump’s budget law, which Senator @ossoff voted again.

These closures are the direct result of Trump and Republican policies that are shutting down rural maternal care in Georgia. Moms, babies, and working families are the ones who suffer, all so the wealthy can get more tax breaks.

The GOP Senate Candidates in Georgia supported Trump's bill and now they are facing backlash.

Why are Republicans so keen on stripping healthcare from women and babies? To help the wealthy?
