“Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and you get neither.” – C.S. Lewis

[Ally Ragsdale @allyragsdale]

Imagine getting to Heaven and seeing that person you saw everyday being judged by God and them seeing you and asking, “You knew! Why didn’t you tell me?!” It’s time to tell them the truth now before God tells them then.

[Charles Spurgeon @Spurgeon_]

If heaven were by merit, it would never be heaven to me, for if I were in it I should say, 'I am sure I am here by mistake; I am sure this is not my place; I have no claim to it.' But if it be of grace and not of works, then we may walk into heaven with boldness - Spurgeon

[Charles Spurgeon @Spurgeon_]

Don’t go where it is all fine music and grand talk and beautiful architecture; those things will neither fill anybody’s stomach, nor feed his soul. Go where the gospel is preached, the gospel that really feeds your soul, and go often - Spurgeon

[Caleb Calhoun @CCalh15]

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.”

Psalm 19:14 KJV

[Charles Spurgeon @Spurgeon_]

Obedience, holiness, delight in God never came into a human heart except from a heavenly hand - Spurgeon

I have found the best way to overcome sinful temptation is with biblical meditation.

[Charles Spurgeon @Spurgeon_]

A very plain-spoken enemy may do us ten times more service than an indulgent friend - Spurgeon

"We are always falling in love or quarreling, looking for jobs or fearing to lose them, getting ill and recovering, following public affairs. If we let ourselves, we shall always be waiting for some distraction or other to end before we can really get down to our work." #CSLewis

[C. S. Lewis @CSLewisDaily]

"I think all Christians would agree with me if I said that though Christianity seems at first to be all about morality, all about duties and rules and guilt and virtue, yet it leads you on, out of all that, into something beyond." #CSLewis
