@silverEEPS Don't get me wrong, return is by no means a good adaptation of sh2, nor is it a fantastic movie in it's own, but if i tell myself to ignore the blatant butchering of silent hill 2, it's a decent enough silent hill style story.

Honestly, I read it more as Zoe, who was struggling to keep up with the rapidly increasing number of sick, injured, and fatalities, was blaming herself for her inability to help better.

And then the town, as Silent Hill does, was turning that fear and self doubt against her.

Silent Hill Townfall spoilers? I do not agree with the idea Zoe is a bad nurse and fully to blame for what is going on in the story. Her situation reflects Lisa from the first game, two people blackmailed into focusing on someone by accidentally helping the suffering of others.
