@RadioFreeBR The "Ridge" is around Ridge Boulevard; I think that's why they called it that. But Sunset Park, the Ridge, Green-Wood Cemetery... it's all part of the same terminal moraine :)

William Lindsay Gresham, author of NIGHTMARE ALLEY, had family in Bay Ridge. In the 1930s, he listed 7826 Fourth Avenue as one of several addresses on his passport. It was where, in 1940, his stepmom and half-brother lived. The building is seen here the same year.
