5. It is not permissible to for either of the spouses to refuse to have children because except for the reasons mention in 2.

4. The prophet counted children as blessing & encouraged us to have many bcos he'll want his ummah to be the largest on the day of judgement

3. It is weak iman that will make one space child-bearing because of poverty. Allah always provides for hard-working and pious ones

2. Scholars have agreed that one can space/used temporary contraceptives for the right reasons such as health or fear of child upbringing.

1. Islam does not forbids spacing children as the companion used to practice withdrawal method and the prophet didn't forbid them
