@GWRHelp is there ever going to be a resolution to the non-existent seat reservations on the 16:36 Pad to Ply. These are never switched on pre-boarding and it constantly causes mayhem. Surely after a year there should be a resolution to this fault.

@GWRHelp can you please advise how/when I will be able to get to Pew. I have been at RDG for over 4 hrs now. Are taxis being arranged? You have a duty of care to passengers which is not being followed. The delayed 10:23 to PNZ could easily make add. stops but GWR refuse.

@GWRHelp There are countless services running but nothing stopping at Pewsey. Can’t one of the running services make additional stops? Stranded at RDG for over 4 hours now is unacceptable.

@GWRHelp is road transport being arranged for passengers now stuck at Reading? 06:15 Pew to Pad cancelled at Reading with zero etd for any service to Pad or indeed back to Pew.

@GWRHelp None of these ‘alternatives’ go to Pewsey. But I guess I’ll just resign myself to being stuck at Reading for the day now, close to 3 hours now!

@GWRHelp Incorrect, it’s completely contradictory, one part states no road replacement is being sourced and the other states it is. The option to travel on any other service also isn’t an option. I have been stuck at RDG for over 2 hours now and would like to get back to PEW.

@GWRHelp That doesn’t really help and is quoting incorrect information as I have now been stuck at Rdg for over an hour and a half. No service has been reinstated on the line via Pew, despite several reinstated on the Bristol line. Is road transport being arranged?

@GWRHelp disgraceful service yet again. 06:15 Pew to Pad held at Maidenhead and everyone told to get off and take Elizabeth line. Train guard had zero information on delay - now still on Elizabeth line to find the service we were told to get off arr. into Pad 08:14!

@GWRHelp any ideas what is happening the 06:16 Pew to Pad? platform information board is showing no trains from this platform and your app says delayed despite showing as having left Westbury.

@GWRHelp why wait until now to decide to announce the cancellation of the 16:36 Pad to Pew when it’s been clear for the last hour that the inbound service to form this was massively delayed. Frustrating to leave work and get to station for it now to be delayed by over 40mins.

@GWRHelp is the 17:03 Pad to Pew expected to run? 16:36 up until 20 mins ago was showing as on time but now cancelled and next three trains all cancelled also. Slightly frustrating showing trains as running then cancelling last minute.

@GWRHelp Great, so yet another endless delay/cancellation on this line with zero information. Surely someone at GWR knows the whereabouts of this train considering the inbound train from Totnes arr. at 14:19 but for reasons unknown was used for another route.

@GWRHelp is there any indication of when carriages from depot are going to arr. into Pad to form the now very delayed 14:36 to Tot? Station staff have no info other than they still haven’t left.

@GWRHelp next 2 trains from Pew to Pad cancelled with nothing until 21.20. Is road transport being arranged or other services likely to make additional stops at Pewsey? 6 hours with no service seems extreme even with the incident earlier today.

@GWRHelp what is the reason for the delay on the 06.16 Pew to Pad, your journey planner has been giving false information on a minute by minute basis since shortly after scheduled departure.

@GWRHelp is there a reason seat reservations are never in place on the 16.35 Pad to Ply? Frequently these are only put place minutes before departure if at all causing mayhem with people having to move seats!

@GWRHelp Is the fault with the signalling system a new issue in addition to the freight train blocking the line? Zero information at Paddington as usual. Trying to ascertain if it is with waiting to see if the 17:36 runs or if it will also be cancelled minutes before it’s due to depart

@GWRHelp as predicted 16.35 Pad to Pew cancelled 5 mins before it was due to depart. 17.03 also now not stopping at Pewsey. Presumably 17:36 will also be cancelled at last minute. Furthermore there is no announcements at Pad as to disruption and trains are showing as on time.

@GWRHelp also just to point out there has been no train service arriving in Pewsey since 13:36 today, surely rail replacement should have been organised by now as the incident has been ongoing all afternoon. Why is 17.03 being diverted if incident is now cleared?
