@stephenkilVO@PaulTreyvaud What’s your solution Stephen? Carry on like we have been? The giveaway is in the word “illegal” immigration. It is creating huge social problems. It’s creating g racial tension. It’s exposing a dark side to Irish sensibilities. Something has to be done to stem this responsibly
@GardaTraffic Reading the vitriolic posts I question whether the haters see how pathetic their posts are. Love them to be gardai for a week. Might soften their cough
@rtenews In same week some judge awards c300,000 to somebody for slipping on a dance floor in a small hotel and hurting their wrist . Hotel now probably closing down.
@davidmcw@joehas Only the insane would argue against quality public transport. Whether it’s light rail, Luas, tram, is the side argument. Don’t look to London where it’s exceptional and a real city. Look to what’s being achieved for relatively low cost in Nottingham.
@SavetheHellfire Same craic every week, and have to assume same lazy dog owners week after week. Add in the weekend warriors whom party like it’s 1999 and leave cans, tents, chairs what’s the solution ? Blame the council or Coillte! Or press the council for proper safeguarding. Mounties ?
@Belcourtoi@implausibleblog Can you finish your maths so I can see an answer as it’s an interesting point whatever the politics. So u are saying it’s 4.76 migrants but he said it’s over 2 years so it’s basically 2.38. As I am not an academic and don’t want to saw somebody in half its 2 or 3 a minute? Close
@RTE_PrimeTime@crazyhouseprice@rtenews Agree with your supply side argument 100%. Be great to get the message out that every development has to deliver Part V housing, that it’s not appropriate that tidy towns groups use 20e to scupper valid planning permissions or that 5 storeys a dirty word ! Increase Supply !
@mrbarnicoat@historyinmemes If we destroy everything along your lines of thought we will have nothing left. Educate and discuss. That’s possibly a more reasonable approach.
@TadhgHickey@sean_murray1 Isn’t it great when people can discuss eloquently issues and differing views. Doesn’t make one right or wrong, it’s just respectful debate, as you would expect with anyone. Londonderry, Derry , north of Ireland, Northern Ireland. They are just words but they are strong words.
