It was the launch of the @CIEHF 75th Anniversary Exhibition launch - The theme of “Think Human” was the backdrop of a gathering of some amazing Human Factors practitioners and friends :-)
Fair play - if there isn’t enough time in the school day, no matter what age, then there is too much work. We insist on work during work hours, we should push for the same for pupils!
A quick reminder that Patient Safety Congress in Manchester is now just a week away and the Clinical Human Factors Group will be running Stream F "Making Human Factors Everyday Business" on Tuesday 17th September.
We will also be on Stand 1 in the exhibition hall in the breaks and will have experts on hand to discuss Human Factors and improving patient safety within your organisations. Do come and find us and say hello.
The full Congress programme (including details of our stream) can be found at https://t.co/RodKVjdxA8
If @LouisReesZammit has been released by Chiefs as reported then I’m so sorry for him - but does that mean the @RamsNFL pick him up - that would be awesome if so ;-)
The Patient Safety Commissioner has launched a public consultation on a draft of "seven principles of better patient safety" They seem very sensible and it's hard to disagree with any of them. The Clinical Human Factors Group have responded to the consultation supporting the principles while stressing the importance of human factors science and systems thinking to ensure they don't just remain as principles but become part of the way work is done and the way care is delivered.

Whether you are a patient, service user, healthcare worker, care deliverer, campaigner or interested for any reason - have your say too.
@thiswillstick @ta_mills@LeftGrassroots I guess until they have had time to make a change, neither of us can say who is right. So maybe we review this next month?
But I’m curious - if you are sure they won’t make any changes - who do you think would have?
@SusanFairweathe@ta_mills@LeftGrassroots Anyone saying that the winner didn’t win because they want to play different rules after the result does not merit being taken seriously. Some of us live in the real world.
