Lack of Strikers
4 years of recruitment issues coming home to roost

@AnalyticsQpr @QPRReport @QPR Last season we had to have our best 11 available to win, you do the numbers you know the wins v losses with and without Colback, JCS and Chair. Why is the squad so light because we are competing with the bottom 6 clubs in terms of who we can attract and squad size we can afford

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

@AnalyticsQpr @QPRReport @QPR If we were told that Chair, Colback, JCS, Paal, Frey, Fox, Dembele would all be out or struggling for at least 1/3 season I think we would all have predicted relegation, unsurvivable #qpr

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

Honestly don’t know what to say about that, as bad as it’s been, passive and weak, but the cupboard is totally bare CM at LCB, CB at RB, L2 Rb at left back then left winger, best player crocked after 30 mins. 18 year old
Kid CM and the worst striker in our history up front #QPR

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

Thought it was Madsen’s best game especially 1st half fantastic weighted passing virtually every chance we had came with him the build up. Celar very much the problem today

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

Thought 1st half was the best we had played all season Varane, Morgan and Madsen excellent but my God what a miss by Celar, 2nd half not too bad up to the sending off but struggled to create thereafter especially as Morgan tired. Celar diabolical and team don’t trust him #qpr

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

Has to be Field at LCB and either 4-3-3 or Madson at 10 in 4-2-3-1. JCS missing a disaster #QPR

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

@dave_barton76 I'd expect him to challenge for headers, not stand off, I'd expect him to make a run to offer when we actually had the ball, I'd expect some attempt to read the game, the fact we were so much better with Smyth, Saito, and then Lloyd says a lot #qpr

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

Clearly there is illness or injury in warm up or training yesterday they just can't magic someone up north in a few hours notice #qpr

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

Find it hard to believe Celar is the 2 best striker in Slovenia, Faroe Islands maybe. I just don’t get it, it’s like they signed him blind on the basis of goals and caps. #QPR

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

@UpTheRs That’s a shocking indictment should have had more tonight if we had a striker on the pitch

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

@ChrisAllum1 @QPR Cramp

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

I’m not sure we will see two worse teams this season and it made for entertaining chaos. My god what has happened to Coventry! Thought Saito did incredibly well at “wing back”. Smyths best game for a while too. My god Celar was bad though, wouldn’t trouble a NL defence. #qpr

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

@QPR Surely it should be Fox out here apologising. Not enough accountability throughout the team outside of Cook and Frey

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

I don’t think it’s half as bad as some are saying on here today. I thought the structure was more solid we created good chances. However what I am seeing is a complete lack of accountability, no one willing to take it by the scruff of the neck, and really poor communication #qpr

[Barry Rutter @bazrutter]

Not sure you can blame the manager 3 one on ones missed, Fox gifted them both goals problem not new players today senior players let the team and the supporters down #qpr
