@RobPattison91 Nope
It's mostly played in a country that has near zero interest in footie
They have been bombing one of the countries involved, which is only allowed there to play matches, the has to immediately leave to Mexico
The hours that they made some teams go through customs, disgusting
@BOROSTEELARMY I always wonder what it must be like for the children of these people. I imagine they come home from doing school tests with bad results, these parents won't support/help they will probably slag them off say they need to go and they want someone more worthwhile.
@MattPB_ Spending money doesn't guarantee success.
We when Gibson was allowed to spend whatever he wanted (prior to FFP) and we had the likes of Juninho and Ravanelli, we still won nowt.
Spurs have one if the most expensive squads in the prem, might go down today
@gaylesian@MikeJudges1 If some twonk comes round your house and nicks your TV, you get a photo of them doing it, are you a grass then if you take that to the police. Or is different rules when it is you caught doing something wrong?
@JamesCarr02 So, what I'm getting here, is you are saying you cheated but the cheating didn't affect the outcome of the 2 matches?
Well in that case, that shoukd habe been your argument in the hearing, the EFL must have got it wrong to kick you guys out...
@HarryBulleyment@mcburniegoated Stockton Town Northern Premier League Premier Division. Beat Guisley - playoff semi final, got booted out the final for playing a player 3 days after he was sent off in the last league game of the season (normally ban comes in 7 days later, apparently not after the season ends)
@gaylesian@Jenny_1884 Something I saw in a university ragmag about 40 years ago:
Lie to people for money, that's fraud
Lie to people for votes, that's politics
@smoggy854 I prefer the EFL to EPL. The EPL is all about the glory hunter clubs, because they have fans all over the world, FPP favours them, sponsors favour them and they can out spend the rest too.
We cant compete with that, too small a following & not fashionable enough for big sponsors
@untypicalboro When I moved down here, nearly 20 years ago, I was asking one of the women I work with, why it rains all the time. She claimed it didn't until I moved down. I said, "of course it did, that's why they named where you live Peasedown". (Peasedown St John).
@WorldByWolf USA were neutral WW1&2 & Falklands, as we are now
USA joined WW1 because of German subs sinking US ships. The UK & France had loans from the USA, if we lost the war Germany wouldn't have paid the USA
WW2, USA joined 3 days after Pearl Harbour when Germany declared war on the USA
