@Wikipedia I am so sick of these bloated and space wasting ui's everything has now. The old ui was fine, it was nice, clean, and compact. Stop peddling objectively worse interfaces as better because they are "modern".
@josch62 Yep, it's running and the service account has the correct permissions. How does the task sequence communicate with the MP to run the server commands?
@josch62 Are you aware of any issues with tscommander and the latest version of MECM? I'm on version 2207 with the hotfix rollup from 11/7/22 installed.Serve rcommand scripts no longer work for me, even after a reinstall and verifying permisisons. See nothing in event viewer
@josch62 Alright thanks! Probably means there's something up with our install then. Do you know which logs I could check to see where the issue is? I've checked smsts.log on the computers, and the event viewer for tscommander has no entries for an attempt to run a script.
@SipeedIO I'd definitely buy a laptop in the 200-300$ range, 500$ is a bit much. I'd take 1 or 2 over the 3rd, a 2k display on a laptop is a tad excessive and I'd prefer a smaller size.
@runlevel__5@phoronix That's a real bummer. I've been wanting to get an a380 for the encode and decode capabilities for my blackbird. Guess my rx5300 will have to do for now.
@Polytoximania@AnachronistJohn@jhamby When I still had a v254 it would kernel panic on me all the time. It happened a lot of debian, and less frequently on netbsd.
@mpc7500v2@UnlogicGate@RaptorCompSys If you want to get really clever with it you could set up the x86 system up headless and run apps over ssh on X on the blackbird or talos ii
@CRC32_ae80d4d3 @diagprov @RaptorCompSys My plan with my blackbird is to use one of those cheap pcie to usb cards with riser cards that crypto miners like to use. It's not fast but works for my purposes, I did make sure it had more than 1 upstream lane.
