Many on the political left are so entranced by the beauty of their vision that they cannot see the ugly reality they are creating in the real world. - T. Sowell
This is the best 5 minutes and 50 seconds I have spent in quite a long time. I encourage anyone and everyone to watch.
The amazing thing is that ALL OF IT has been in plain sight for a very long time, yet very few people have seen it or are seeing it.
It's the genius of Trump. He intentionally creates a bombastic, almost clownish facade that purposely obscures his exquisite grasp and attainment of strategic goals.
Most people fall into Trump's trap--but not this British commentator. He lays bare exactly what America's geopolitical strategy is, but the thing is--it's always been bare and always been obvious and always been in plain sight.
You just had to see past the deception plan.
@CanesHockeyAC@d_j_l2525@KathrynGuyton4 “Mark my words” is a bold way to finish a post from someone whose words desperately need marking by an English teacher.
@saskatchewan_in What you’re seeing is the predictable result of years of liberalism & socialist policies that crippled Canada’s economy. Sad, but American taxpayers aren’t responsible for subsidizing these failures. Expecting us to is more of the same socialist nihilism that created this.
@davids1054@Gina_T1@grok Gotta admire Canadian hubris, at least. Said with the same absolute conviction that Canada was a lock to win Olympic gold — right before getting bitch-slapped off the podium by the U.S. 😂😂🤡🤡
@Leonajardinho Any competent homebuyer with half a brain knows this. Property taxes rise because of local policies. You don’t like it? Stop voting Democrat.
@TBFlyer@NHLAdamK Nah, I’m the life of the party. Of course I usually bribe them with a stellar bourbon selection and the best damn pulled pork this side of Texas. 😎
@TBFlyer@NHLAdamK Better than you. At least I know the engraving rules. Can’t blame you though. Perhaps if the Flyers won a cup in your lifetime you would know and you wouldn’t pose moronic takes.
@TBFlyer@NHLAdamK Another moronic idiot who doesn’t understand anything. If a player does not automatically qualify, he MUST, be petitioned to have his name included and approved by the league. There is no such obligation for non players, but they are approved by the league.
@CBSNews Lies. Your fact-check relied on older CISA statements (e.g., 2020/2024 election security assessments) and prior reports. It did not engage the new intelligence releases on election infrastructure vulnerabilities, foreign data acquisition, or related assessments.
@EricMacramalla So basically, no rules were broken, but as the Self-Appointed Arbiter of Stanley Cup Etiquette, you've elevated your personal preferences to hockey doctrine. Fortunately, the NHL runs the Cup—not columnists.
@MarkLazerus The irony of calling others "main character" while declaring yourself the keeper of hockey traditions is pretty rich. The NHL approved it, no rules were broken, & your personal definition of respect isn't the rulebook. You don't own the game. Times change. Move on.
@39thbest@TheWarningTake The funniest part of hockey tribalism is people mistaking geography for expertise. If your argument starts with insults aimed at where someone is from instead of hockey, you've already lost.
@LLysowski Nystrom deserves credit, but didn't automatically qualify & was playing for the Calder Cup during the Stanley Cup Final. That's a tough case for an NHL engraving exception. Different than an owner's family. Perhaps if Buffalo had any experience with Cup engraving, you'd know this
