@errollouis@sarbetter PLEASE speak up when/if one if these candidates makes a statement that you know to be untrue. I don’t have a horse in this race, but it does seem that some of these attacks on DiNapoli are just factually untrue and as moderators, can’t you say so?
@errollouis Pls have your team continue to take a close look at the cost cuts. There is no way this budget gap can be closed without pain *somewhere* (s) and we know who tends to pay the real price. It isn’t the rich. Your point about class size is right on; kids pay that price.
.@chucktodd Your discussion of increasing the size of the House is intriguing. But if you believe, as I do, that those who have power never give it up willingly, how does this ever happen? You’d need the current crowd to dilute their own power. Seems DOA. Also, hi!
Loved that piece on financial literacy in schools @errollouis - i also think we should go back to teaching home ec so that kids learn that it’s easy and delicious and healthy to make one’s own food or even sew one’s own clothes. It’s all very self-empowering.
Ok @katie_honan — here’s one for a Thursday morning: last night, I was on what I have always called The Bowery — yet, the street sign said simply “Bowery” AND Google Maps told me to “turn right on Bowery.” 🤯 What say you, Katie?
“Long lines at the airport? Thank President Trump.” “Sticker shock at the gas pump? Thank President Trump” — why aren’t the Dems saying stuff like this??
