Kobe Edwards led the Knights with 21 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds. Braxton DuBose finished with 19 points, Johnny Winborne with 16, and Simon Quinn with 11.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but the leading scorer is not always the best player on the team.
Also, just because you scored the most points in a game doesn’t mean you played good.
Box scores can lie.
You showing up to the game with pajamas pants on looking half sleep? Or are you ready to hoop. I’m not going to lie to a college coach for you. My job is to help get deserving players the opportunity to play on the next level as well as help college coaches find the right players
Crossed one kid off my list because his dad called his name so he could meet me, his response was : “What you want Dad” … after we meet, his dad says. “Son get his information so he can possibly help you out” .. son responds “ You do it” … I told them have a blessed day 😂
During this high school season. Be the best at everything in PRACTICE. It will pay major dividends. Win every sprint, set great screens, talk more than everyone else, get there early, compliment your teammates. It’s hard to comprehend but these things elevate your overall play.
I wonder how many kids actually watch film of their games. And not just the good games either. I’m not sure they understand how essential watching film & knowing how to watch film is for their development.

Ain’t too many teams that’s gonna play harder than Wilson Prep…they buy in to what @AntAtkinson12 preaching! Youngins grew up last night & only gonna get better throughout the season.
I want to thank Hoop State and Rod Bridgers for trusting us to host another event. What a great atmosphere for two days! I hope the fans enjoyed the kids playing and competing! Thank you to all the teams that participated too. See everyone next year!!!
