@francescamar6 In what would would we survive a second trump term? Abortion is already totally banned or limited in 20/50 states after Dobbs. His SC already dismantled the VRA, and signaled it may reverse course on gay marriage. You think that’s less likely to happen with a second Trump term?
@StemStu@_CalebMcKee_@CSayf23 He played at around 213 last year, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he keeps weight lower due to different needs for NFL back vs Michigan back. He was 200 lbs the year he split time with Haskins, allows him to be more speed than pure inside tackle.
@reasonableman20 @ZMondoHype @JulesMoffit@benryanwriter That study examines all-cause mortality, not cardiac-specific. It also defines “modest drinker” as 1 drink per day or less.
So 1 drink per day was still considered a modest amount and carried a positive mortality benefit.
@benryanwriter@JulesMoffit It means that this needs to be studied more closely in a more controlled manner, and that people smoking marijuana MAY be putting themselves at increased risk. The tobacco industry hid these risks from the public. Being open about risk here is important for transparency. /2-end
@benryanwriter@JulesMoffit It’s important to note these types of studies do not prove causal relationship. Nor does it mean an individual’s cardiovascular risk is increased by marijuana by X%. It means that on a large scale, there is a significant relationship between poor CV health and marijuana use. /1
@soft_serve_wx @WajahatAli It’s always fresh. Because the cubes are small, they melt and recycle through the machine quickly. Just need to clean it pretty often.
@caseyalbin@chatterJ5 I 100% agree we need to study this question more closely. My personal opinion is that intervention matters, but that many different approaches can be equally effective.
