Boom. Still sucks for fantasy leagues, though.

[Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn]

The NBA’s Board of Governors has voted to approve the league’s 22-team format to restart the 2019-2020 season in Orlando, source tells ESPN.

Last call for mailbag questions for the next #podcast episode! They can either be fantasy basketball-related or off-topic (so long as my answer is interesting enough to share).

Hoping to record in the next day or two. 🤞

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

I'd like to include a mailbag section if I can get enough questions, so tweet your queries at me! Ideally the Q&A will focus on fantasy basketball matters, but I'm game for answering off-topic questions as well (so long as my answers are interesting enough).

I hope you're all doing well, fantasy basketball friends.

Just checking in to let you know a new podcast episode is in the works. Hoping to get it out sometime next week. Stay tuned and make sure you're subscribed to "Merlin's Beard: A Fantasy Basketball Podcast."

No surprise

[Shams Charania @ShamsCharania]

The NCAA has canceled the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments and March Madness.

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

Do I think KD and Kyrie will make it back after games commence? Nope.

Do I think guys like JJJ, Clarke, Capela and Nurk gain appeal? Yep.

KAT and Simmons are still mystery boxes for the most part, and Bagley won't be all that valuable even if he makes it back.

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

No fantasy recap in the morning, for fairly obvious reasons. Pickup recommendations before an indefinite hiatus is a bit fruitless.

That said, how about Caleb Martin?

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

We know next to nothing about how long the suspension will last, what the schedule of games will be after activity restarts, etc. So there's a lot of uncertainty regardless, and in the end picking up INJ guys who end up playing may not matter all that much in the end.

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

Maybe the #NBA should just Elam End the whole season: Once play continues, first team to 60 wins hoists the 🏆

[Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn]

The NBA "will use hiatus to determine next steps moving forward," league says.

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

WTF

[Shams Charania @ShamsCharania]

The NBA has suspended its season.

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

There it is

[FantasyLabs NBA @FantasyLabsNBA]

Rudy Gobert tests positive for coronavirus. https://t.co/5i8Ixt0XCc

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

@spicypforever Not yet. If Burks can get 20+ minutes consistently, then that may change. Dedmon is closer to a drop guy than Reddish though.

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

Yikes. He's a drop in redraft leagues.

[FantasyLabs NBA @FantasyLabsNBA]

Status note: Ben Simmons (back) out at least 3 more weeks.

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

This is gonna be interesting...

[Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn]

The Golden State Warriors are planning to play foreseeable home games without fans in observance of the San Francisco Health Office's order prohibiting group of events of 1K or more from assembling, source tells ESPN.

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

@spicypforever Korkmaz and Burks

[Basketball Merlin @bballmerlin]

The Shake Milton train continues. Make sure he's not available in your league.

[Shams Charania @ShamsCharania]

76ers star Ben Simmons is progressing in rehab with lower back nerve impingement and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.
