Just a little update on my launchpad

I had a major blocker because the launchpad depends on Raydium CPMM. Trashbin uses Meteora under the hood.

But @emyrPRMR has solved it by deploying Raydium to Gorbagana. Now, I won't have to change a thing.

What is left is adapting a couple of things, like the math behind the bonding curve and some other cool features (I think you guys will like them).

It doesn't matter what we have on-chain if we cannot sell these lottery tickets to traders.

The only reason it is not is because we're in the middle of getting a new DAO-controlled escrow.

This DAO takes 2 weeks to set up. It is impossible to speed it up because it is has cooldown periods for safety.

What assets can be supported?
Any Solana token and NFT. If there is a demand, more chains can be added later.

What assets are supported now?
We start with Gorbagios NFT and GLB, finalizing the already ongoing process by minting what is due.

Can it bridge GOR?
Yes, easily. The support is already baked in and can be turned on any moment (it's not on yet, so please don't send anything!). The team just needs to top up the bridge's escrow on Gorbagana with gGOR to distribute.

How is bridging done?
You send your tokens (only the supported ones!) to GRBGN55vQpZKdVGTgwykstdj4PrguVk22QZdY3t4qCpx and receive them to the same address on Gorbagana. That's all.

What is the delay between sending the assets and receiving them on Gorbagana?
We start in a semi-automatic mode so I can personally verify every transaction, so the delay can be up to 12 hours (but likely much lower as I'll try to be terminally online). When I'm sure it's robust and bug-free I'll switch on an automatic mode and the delay will be around 2 minutes assuming there is no queue.

How does the bridge work?
A stripped-down for security Go program tracks the deposit to the escrow. When there is one it releases the same amount of assets to the same wallet on Gorbagana side. Also some amount of TRASH tokens is minted for the assets that qualify. That's all, generally. It's a bit more elaborate on a technical level to account for the tapestry of tokens, escrows, and routes but overall, that's the process.

What is the end game for the bridge?
Bridging Solana communities to Gorbagana. We have the liquidity, the TRASH subsidy, and the passionate community. These are huge assets (except TRASH which is pure garbo) that can add some vigor to some Solana communities that feel left out. To us, it's new friends we are ready to embrace. Also, it's a way for them to reduce their supply on Solana which potentially can lead to price increase if stars align.

Can this bridge be two-way?
I can't see why not. But I won't do it until it has a months-long track record of working flawlessly. You see, we own the landfill so screwing up in SOL -> GOR direction would be painful but fixable. On the other hand, screwing up the other way (GOR -> SOL) would spell a catastrophe since our Solana pool can potentially be drained. So, baby steps, lots of testing, and better safe than sorry.

When will Gorbagios, TRASH, and GLB be distributed?
The distribution has already started and will take some time since I have a lot of transaction to go through. It can even take a couple of days as I have more than 2700 transactions to go through one-by-one. You will see the Gorbagios you've bridged and TRASH you're eligible for in your wallet (on Trashscan).

Thoughts on the Gorbagana chain

It’s been about a week since mainnet opened,
and aside from the early bridgers, there’s still a bridge delay.
The moment this switches to instant bridging,
I’m convinced a whole new world will open up.

The Gorbagana chain FOMO is already here,
and the vibes from some of the recently launched tokens are definitely not normal.
I still haven’t received the $TRASHCOIN airdrop,
there are additional airdropped tokens allocated to early bridgers,
I’m still holding lot's of the $GOR,
and $GORBAGE that I invested in early.

It's been 1 week the GOR trashnet is live and here are my 2c thoughts about it :

- The bridge for early bridgors was super smooth ; no claim needed, directly in my @Backpack wallet. (cheers to them for this great wallet).

- The bridge for new comers takes a bit to much time for now (with season). Banger team is working on it, and the bridge will be come smooth asf for everyone.

- Coins creation : The launchpad isn't working like pfun but like the good old way we had in early 2024.
-> Coin minting + LP creation -> Burn LP

=> The cost to launch a coin with OK LP is way higher than pfun coins (0).
Imo it's not a big deal at all for the first few coins. => Easy to make a selection and chose which coins to early bet on.

-> These coins will pump the hardest when GOR will get more and more mindshare.
(My favorite one is $Gorbage for sure).

- @TrashBinGOR activity : Onchain activity is getting better and better.
Yesterday we had a small increase of activities and the site was absolutly perfect.

As mentioned yesterday, I decided to help a friend launch his coin on GOR to see how on-chain activity develops.

My main issue with coins on GOR has always been the lack of liquidity = LPs are usually too small to generate interesting trades.
For that reason, I decided to deploy 535K $GOR (~2800$) and 100% of the supply into the LP. Lp is burned.
