$SICKB status update

I’m standing up our SickBlockchain on the @arbitrum Sepolia test network. This phase is dev only and closed. I’m wiring the bridge, checking wallet and explorer flows, and throwing weird edge cases at the chain to surface bugs early. The aim is to get transactions, blocks, and bridging feeling rock solid before I invite anyone in.

Once I’m happy with stability, I’ll open a small public test window. I expect to share more details, some guidance for builders, and a simple web UI as things come together, but timing may shift based on what I learn in testing.

No tokens, airdrops, or invites right now. This is about stability and polish. Thanks for your patience. I’m excited to show you what I’ve been building.

In short, I’m still working on the chain, 5555, like I’d ever stop. Here’s what the next 7 days should look like:

Locking the build: I’m freezing the current working version and getting it properly organized in GitHub. After the grind it’s been, I need some repo housecleaning before pushing further.

Dedicated VPS for explorer: Blockscout needs its own box. Each block mined eats disk space and fills quickly, so the sequencer inbox and explorer will be split onto separate servers.

Testing Stylus (Rust/WASM): I’ll be running smoke tests on devnet to confirm the toolchain works. Stylus is still early tech, if it passes, awesome! (picture a buffalo doing a backflip). If it doesn’t, I’ll park it for later and keep moving ahead with Sepolia testnet.

Core progress: The chain already runs and produces blocks. WSICKB is live, and the bridge has been tested both ways.

The heavy lifting is behind me, but like pushing to failure in the gym. I’m fatigued, yet the work continues

.. I need to start posting daily, I know. I'm not a boomer, I just dont get into it as much as maybe I should? Anyways. Here is a response from telegram that I made a few days ago.

I appreciate all the supporters sticking around and seeing the bigger picture. I’m not here to pump a chart and walk away. I’m building a blockchain that people can be proud to be part of. The short-term crowd wants hype and quick wins. That’s not what this is.

This chain is about long-term value. Not just price movement, but real opportunities. RWA sounded like a meme at first, but it’s real now. Not everyone can afford a full asset, whether it's real estate or something else entirely. Through fractional ownership, people will be able to participate using real funds, not just tokens. You’ll be part of something tangible.

The DAO will have a stake in each asset, but the majority ownership and direction will be driven by the people who believe in and support that specific project. If someone has an idea and the backing to pitch it, the ecosystem can support that. It’s not limited to real estate. It could be anything, if it has merit and community support.

This is also something you can show to skeptics. It’s a bridge between crypto and the real world. And we’re building it all ourselves. The rollup, the sequencer, the validator, the RPC, the bridge, the staking system, WSICKB. Everything is owned, deployed, and operated by us.

SickB started as a meme. But we’re not following meme rules. We’re keeping the vibe, but pushing into real infrastructure and serious use cases. Can we moon while staying grounded? Can we have fun while building a chain that lasts into the crypto future? I believe we can.

I can’t predict how far this goes. But I know that when those assets show up, and ownership becomes possible for people who never thought they’d have a shot, it will matter. For some it’ll be about building wealth. For others it’ll be about building something meaningful. Either way, this is just the beginning.

🧵 SickB Chain Build Status

The SickB Chain infrastructure is almost complete. After a month of debugging across Brotli, Rust, WASM, Docker, and custom ABI bindings, the final major hurdle is compiling the jit binary.

The current blocker was due to Brotli's static libraries being named with -static.a suffixes, while the Rust compiler expected them without it. That fix is now in progress.

Once the JIT step is confirmed working, maybe today 🤷🏼‍♂️ , the final tasks begin.

📌 Next Milestones

1. Complete Docker Build
Finalize the full runtime image with Nitro, JIT, and Stylus all compiled and in place

2. Start the Chain
Boot Geth and Nitro using Docker Compose and confirm block production

3. Deploy WSICKB and Bridge Logic
Use the deploy_wsickb.ts script to deploy the wrapper and configure bridging

4. Activate RPC and Explorer
Bring the RPC endpoint and Blockscout online with MetaMask and frontend integration
