WATCH: Ernesto Joson, a farmer for 40 years, shares the plight of farmers amid rising production costs while palay prices remain low.

He says he and fellow farmers in Pulilan, Bulacan have yet to receive the ₱5,000 fuel subsidy from the government, forcing him to borrow just to make ends meet.

While other farmers are considering stopping operations because of mounting losses, Joson says he opts otherwise.

“Mahirap mapagod. Mahirap huminto. ‘Pag hinto mo, wala na. Hindi ka na kikita,” he says.

🤔VERY SUSPICIOUS. I think there are two realistic possibilities:
🚢The Kang Ling 539 is again dredging the Santo Tomas River & will return to Manila Bay later today.
🏃‍♂️The KL539 has fled the 🇵🇭#Philippines. If so, the logical place for it to go is 🇨🇳#China, its original & only other operating location.

I can't say with authority which is more likely, but here are the warning signs that make me wonder if it's on the run:
🚧KL539 rarely turns off its Sierra Leone signal, so that's already unusual.
🚧KL539 rarely goes completely dark. In fact, it's far more often it broadcasts 2 or more identities simultaneously than zero.
🚧I've seen no evidence KL539 has ever been legitimately registered anywhere but China (as He Xing 669). IMO records (as documented in my SeaLight blog post) still have it registered there.

🚨Regardless, someone needs to contact Golden Tiger Shipping Company in Manila ASAP & ask them to account for The Hydra of Manila Bay--both its activities for the past 2+ years & its current location.
