It was so moving when we all walked through the downtown core in solidarity to show support for HongKong despite the attack and terror under NSL . Hundreds are chanting as one “Canada Act Now!”. Toronto is with you. Let’s voice for the voiceless hongkongers.
A pregnant woman was seen suffering the effects of pepperspray on the junction of of Argyle Street and Sai Yeung Choi Street on Monday as riot police dispersed pro-democracy protesters by force. Vid: NineTeen Media.
The #HongKong#PrinceEdward station attack happened 1 year ago today.
Passengers in the metro were attacked by the police, b/c some participated in a protest. A year on, the world is still watching.
We are holding a commemorative protest in London! https://t.co/pA7ysLgAmj
Takes a particular sort of scum to brutalise a pregnant woman.
Since July last 2019, the @hkpoliceforce have shown again and again that pregnancy is no defence against their disproportionate brutalising of democracy campaigners.
Really hope she is ok.
Excellent and unexpected result in Italy today: FM Di Maio followed up on formal request by @nathanlawkc and 17 🇮🇹 MPs representing 5 political parties, publicly calling upon his counterpart Wang Yi to guarantee #HongKong autonomy & freedoms. Definitely not the welcome🇨🇳envisaged
From the news archive of @icablenews we could see that Lam is a victim of the #721YeungLongTerroristAttack, he was beaten and bleeding when trying to help the passengers, how could he been charged for rioting?! That’s absurd
“In the latest example, British bank HSBC has reportedly prevented Hong Kong-based executives at Next Media, a well-known publisher of pro-democracy publications, from accessing their credit cards and personal bank accounts.” https://t.co/sRLzfGu5NL
@benedictrogers@tedhuichifung@cheuktinglam Charge for being at the scene and tried to protect innocent citizens from the attack by pro-CCP thugs, and for revealing the connections between Junius Ho, HKPolice and those thugs
Admin: A while back the Police thanked Lam for reporting the crime ( #721YuenLongAttack) and invited him to take a witness’ statement - and now they are arresting him for rioting on that day.
The July 22 Yuen Long attack clip also showed the same white-clad man on the left saluted the riot police on the left. His salute indicated he was taking the attack order from the cop. It also means @hkpoliceforce was behind the July 22 attack in Yuen Long.
