Thanks for all the comments. Send a singer with a song. If this is too hard for the BBC give it up

Does the BBC have gatekeeper questions about Eurovision? I was sacked from the production and I would encourage the BBC to let me speak

[Paddy O'Connell @bbcpaddy]

I predict this is the last year for Norton on Eurovision this is all basically Mystic Meg

[Paddy O'Connell @bbcpaddy]

the BBC sacked me from Eurovision

[Paddy O'Connell @bbcpaddy]

Eurovision failure is not funny we’ve become the Eurovision Commentary Contest

[Paddy O'Connell @bbcpaddy]

The U.K. needs a total Eurovision reboot

[Paddy O'Connell @bbcpaddy]

I’ve been to 20 Eurovision contests - I really want to praise the young artists who go out there. Also the contest needs to do better and drop the boo hoo and the BBC needs to do an audit of its gatekeeper role. Thanks for also asking about my picks.

A big question tonight for the bbc is should another UK broadcaster get the job. I queried the status quo on the Today programme. Important to note as conflict of interest that I was hired and fired by the BBC Eurovision production.

The British mehness is exhausting- this electro swing is BIG TV

[Paddy O'Connell @bbcpaddy]

In a taxi with Terry at #Eurovision he told me BBC TV people had wrongly axed his chat show - such a love for radio

[Paddy O'Connell @bbcpaddy]

So people have asked me about #Eurovisión2026 - it’s the best TV production in the world and the worst descendant of its glorious past. Find Volare .. find Abba .. lose the political posturing
