One mistake companies can make with AI: confusing assistance with accountability.

AI can summarize, spot patterns, draft docs, and compare options. That does not mean AI should own the decision. Especially in HR.

AI can support the process. Humans should own the outcome.

Everyone is talking about what AI can do. Not enough people are asking what AI should have access to.

That question gets serious fast in HR: compensation, performance, medical leave, employee relations, terminations.

AI in HR needs a control layer.
