@ComEd@TopSlopDawg Wards 6,7,8,9 continue to display the highest number of outages and are being reduced at the slowest rate. Meanwhile other neighborhoods with "less than 5" are taken to 0, but clusters of 150+ in a single block on far south side are hardly budging.
@ComEd@TopSlopDawg Current update 2392 outages, but your replies continue to reference 3,000 employees. Looks to be averaging 50outages returned an hour, but none in Chatham, South Shore, south chicago, bush, Englewood, grand crossing. Status since Wednesday shows 'crews scheduled' ๐
@ComEd@TopSlopDawg I've watched your tracker the last three days, there's been little to no progress anywhere south of 55th st. Multiple updates share crews working, but the status remains unresolved. For three neighborhoods, none of my neighbors have seen a truck, or 'contractor' working.
@MarriottBonvoy I have a $161 parking violation accrued while my vehicle was in your valet's custody, and the only info the manager at hotel shares is that she forwarded the bill back to the company issuing the fee. This appears a scam, and I cannot reach anyone else for help.
@StreetsandSan Can your team kindly enforce the noise ordinance? Waste Management visited our block THREE TIMES this week. At 545AM.
Post less and enforce this ordinance more. Neighbors lose sleep every time this happens. Commissioner Cole does not care. Help us.
@ILStatePolice I called in a vehicle with 'LE' on plates for drunk driving on 90SB tonight & the dispatcher said we don't know if he's actually drunk. Felt assured knowing IL police defended IL police by claiming he was endangering other drivers lives while sober. ๐
@Jim_Bosco@BlockClubCHI Sure I agree. I have no idea which politician to call to recommend that to combat surge price but in the meantime I understand that removal of Lake Michigan water for use in data/AI centers is detrimental to ecosystems & neighbors. Even if the company pays for the water is uses.
@Jim_Bosco@BlockClubCHI Sure we could tax them retroactively, the companies behind these centers have the funds.
But. Consumption increases demand, which means all the neighbors have increased bills as a result. We see this with ComEd + other energy prices surging with increased energy demand.
@Jim_Bosco@BlockClubCHI Consume as in take from the source, and maintain it in closed loop system separate from the source.
No data centers or AI facilities have any documented means of 'replacing it where they found it.'

@lalalandpod69 @churroallie@flynnslick Ya know I never actually summed it up in that way, I saw it in bits & pieces across scenes but didn't put it together that was the whole concept. Thanks for sharing, I'm not sure how to separate the art from the artist
@churroallie@flynnslick He's such a great artist, and primer was completely on a ridiculously small production budget. I know he's had a screenplay in the works for like a decade but no one will pick it up, I think I read he's insufferable to work with.
I'm helping run a fundraiser for my friend Karen - she manages a youth-focused community garden in Chicago's 10th ward Bush neighborhood.

@EricAllixRogers The last few weeks ppl have just been boarding on the street and also waiting in the street. Stony Island is such an aggressive street to have folks waiting on it without shelter. Least they could do is reroute the bus
