@ronaldobrownn_ Transfers don’t fall like domino’s. He will be a huge upgrade. Sometimes you gotta play the game to get your first target. Not signing the other players leaves you missing out, judge the window at the end. Strong start if we sign ederson but it needs another 4 players.
@Malachians I’d be worried about lack of height with that combo. Two of those in the 5ft height range and one just touching 6ft. I like the players but not sure they would be imposing enough? Especially when other first team players aren’t hugely tall.
@AidanWalshMUFC@MattyFC__ The problem isn’t management. It’s at director level. Manager issues, player issues… open transfer window and what are we doing. Nothing…
@htomufc@Ankaman616@Muppetiers does a good job at explaining the importance of the cb’s for an Amorim system.
With our cb’s sitting so deep it creates bagel fc which we have suffered with for what feels like a decade in various different systems.
@sampeoples_ Lower bid also protects us a little. If he ends up at Newcastle then the club statement is along the lines of ‘did not represent value in the market at a higher fee’.
@ronaldobrown_98 The moment this happens Newcastle pay 30% more for a replacement. Guess it’s why they are happy with the sesko fee. I could see a world where they sign Watkins (if he’s go) purely cus they’ll have the cash to pay whatever villa want.
@ronaldobrown_98 I’m all for it as well. Let him live up to his own hype. Strong mentality with high potential but I feel he has got in the way of his own progress.
Let’s hope the fee is a good 50m or more for a fantastic talent that wants to play and will likely be very effective in Europe
@jonmikesav8 When we had ETH it made sense he was sold. In this new system I could see him being used a lot but not a nailed on starter if we had a full squad. Glad he’s showing great form in Italy 👏🏻👏🏻
@ronaldobrown_98 It seems likely we will sign two goal scorers so those two could make sense. Delap will probably go elsewhere and then Osimhen would be the cherry on top if we got CL.
@UnitedPeoplesTV It won’t look good on Chelsea. Clubs will be hesitant to agree these type of deals again. This could ruin a smaller club who survive on fees like this. I’d be surprised if Chelsea don’t keep him.
@MartinSLewis Hi would you be able to confirm whether the tax thresholds are being significantly reduced? I.e 20% and 40% income tax.
If this happens it will be heavily damaging for most average earners. Especially with high mortgage rates and inflated costs through the economy
@RiddyMuppetiers Damn, I have always been in the camp of we don’t create clear chances for Hojlund, which I still stand by but it’s clear and ruthless goal scorer can do more. I still believe in Hojlund as he has really good shooting. He should have always been our development striker not no9
