ATEEZ San mentioned KAI in an interview with ODDA Magazine: "For me, someone I respect isn't just someone who has a strong presence on stage, but also someone I can learn from as a person. I believe true 'coolness' ultimately comes from a person's character. My role model is KAI. His performances are legendary, of course, but I especially respect the sincerity and attitude he possesses as a person. I still learn a great deal by watching his performances."

Hello, this is RE:UNION.
Following our previous statements, we feel it is necessary to address the growing division we are witnessing.
As BRII7E, this is not new to us. We have seen this pattern before, and it is deeply disheartening to watch it unfold again this time affecting another fandom. Division does not happen by accident; it is often fueled by misdirected anger, misinformation, and narratives that shift blame away from where it truly belongs.
What we are seeing now is people missing the point.
Instead of holding companies accountable for their actions, the blame is being redirected toward the members themselves and toward those who refuse to stay silent. This same cycle of deflection protects those in power while isolating the very people being harmed.
We have seen what happens when idols are unable to speak, unable to rest, and unable to advocate for themselves without consequences. Years of overwork, lack of protection from stalkers and harassment, invasions of privacy, and relentless public pressure are endured in silence. These are not isolated incidents they are systemic issues that continue because there is no accountability.
This mistreatment does not affect just one member.
There have been ongoing concerns for years regarding NI-KI, including repeated exclusion from certain schedules and patterns of unfair treatment. These patterns cannot be ignored, especially when it's a company with history of xenophobia and racism. As a Japanese artist in an industry where the rest of his group is Korean, the treatment he has faced has been raising serious and valid concerns that should not be disregarded. At the same time, it is important to recognize that all members have faced mistreatment in different ways, and none of them are exempt from the consequences of this system.
Heeseung has dedicated years of hard work and effort, only to be placed in a situation that raises serious concerns. The justification of “solo activities” does not erase the reality that alternatives exist. An artist should be able to take a hiatus, pursue individual projects, and return without being removed or sidelined. With proper scheduling the individual activities and the group activities can overlap. Proper scheduling, rest, and humane treatment are not privileges; they are the bare minimum.
Instead, what we continue to see is an industry that treats artists as disposable assets rather than human beings.
What is even more concerning is the way narratives are being manipulated. Those who are speaking up against mistreatment are being villainized, while harmful assumptions and long-standing hate are being used to justify targeting Heeseung and the rest of the members. This is not accountability, this is deflection.
Showing support to a member going through an incredibly difficult time does not mean hatred toward the others, nor does it mean they have been forgotten. Fighting for better treatment for one member is fighting for better treatment for all seven. These issues are interconnected, and the goal has always been the protection and wellbeing of every member.
To the OT7 ENGENE who feel lost in the middle: you are not wrong for questioning this situation. You are not wrong for prioritizing the members’ wellbeing over everything else. Supporting them should never mean enabling the systems that harm them.
Continuing to financially support a company without question only reinforces the very structures that allow this mistreatment to persist ,not just for one group, but for countless others in the industry. This circle will not end unless people are willing to finally cut it.
Idols are not fully protected as workers, and in many cases, they have little to no legal safeguards. That means they often have no safe way to speak up for themselves. When that happens, the responsibility falls on those who claim to support them to pay attention, to question and to act.
Loving an artist should mean caring about their wellbeing, their safety and their dignity. Prioritizing charts, awards and recognition over their health is not support, it is complicity in a system that dehumanizes them.
No amount of success can compensate for exhaustion, fear or the loss of autonomy.
You are advocating for human rights. There is nothing shameful about that. Do not let shifting narratives or external pressure make you doubt what is clearly wrong and what's clearly right. Manipulation thrives on confusion, but the truth remains simple: mistreatment and abuse of power is never justified.
Think critically. Stand firmly in your values. And when something is wrong, do not be afraid to speak up, even if that is the only action you can take.
RE:UNION will continue to stand against exploitation, against abuse of power and against the normalization of harm within this industry.
Until there is accountability and a positive change, we will not be silent.

To the man who heals us with his words, our JAY,
Do you even know how much you mean to us? Do you even realize how many days you have made bearable just by simply existing? You are not just our “Monday Man”, Jay. You are the reason we can breathe on the days that feel too heavy, the days that hurt, the days when we think we can’t go on anymore.
You don’t just make us smile or laugh. You make us feel safe and seen. You make us feel like we belong even when everything around us is falling apart. Even when the world feels too loud or too dark, you find a way to reach us, to hold us, to remind us that it is okay to stumble, that it is okay to be tired, that it is okay to be human.
Thank you, JAY, for being our strength when we could not find our own. Thank you for giving us hope through your words, even when we did not know we needed it. JAY, you are bigger than your smiles, bigger than your music, bigger than all of us combined. You alone heal us.
JAY, we hope we can be your strength too. We hope that when you’re tired, when the weight of the world is pressing down on you, you feel us there. We hope you feel our love in every moment, whether good or bad. We want to be the people who lift you up the way you lift us. You deserve that, and everything we can give and more.
You make us believe that better days exist, that even the darkest nights can be survived, that even when life is breaking apart, there is something to hold on to. And JAY, that anchor and light is you.
JAY, the truth is ENGENEs would not be ENGENEs without you. The truth is we’re stronger because of you. The truth is every better day we have, every moment we can breathe easier, every small piece of happiness we hold onto is because of you.
So know that we always got you. We will hold you up when you’re tired, so don’t be afraid. We will protect you when it feels like the world is against you. We will fight to make your days lighter just like you fight to make ours brighter. We got you, JAY, and we always will.
Always be happy, JAY! Every better day we get to see, we get to see together.

To the light who keeps shining on us, our warmth, our braveheart SUNOO,
There are so many ways we could start this, but none of them feel enough for someone as precious as you. So we’ll just say what’s been sitting in our hearts for a while now.
Thank you for always showing up, for all of us. Not just physically, not just because you have to, but in the way you give your full self every single time you face us, your ENGENEs. Even on days that must feel heavier than usual, even when things aren’t easy, you never let it show in the way you treat your work, your members, or the people who are watching you.
You don’t do things halfway. You never have. With you, it’s always 11300624%. And that’s something we hold onto more than you probably realize.
We see how hard you work. Not just in the performances people praise, but in the effort behind them. The discipline it takes to keep going, to stay consistent, to keep choosing your best even when no one would blame you for doing less. You always show up whole, giving more than anyone could expect, and we hope you know that this kind of commitment is rare, something not everyone can do.
We are so proud of you, Sunoo! Not just for what people can easily see, but for everything behind it. For the effort, the patience, and the persistence that keeps you going.
You’ve become someone millions and billions of people can rely on without even realizing it. Someone steady. Someone who keeps going no matter what. And in a world where it’s easy to fall back or give less, you never do.
So we hope, even just for a moment, that you can feel this, that everything you’re doing is seen, that your efforts are not overlooked, and that the way you keep giving your best, every single time, means so much to all of us more than you think.
We’re all here because of you, because of the way you never stopped trying, because of the way you never gave less than your all, and because of the way you keep choosing to stand there and give something genuine to us every single chance you get.
This is our warm embrace for you. A thank you for everything you do, and everything you continue to be. And we will always be here, right where you can find us.
Be happy and be healthy, Sunoo! We will keep running with you for more years to come.
WARM ENBRACE FOR SUNOO
