@MLP_FNFC_TRNSJP Oh, I always hated this about SM64DS. In the original, it's like the song is tuned to Mario's "Here we go!". You expect to leave then, so when it plays early in the remake, you're just left wondering why you're still there.
@pluthorum@MrMozzie7@yandhiisntreal No? They're not? I've never wanted to slam my head into a wall and give up on life from a discussion with a UTDR fan
@yandhiisntreal Because Twitter Sonic fans have run out of things to complain about, so now they have to nitpick the good games to continue the eternal discourse.
@sodapone@FryeFish Sure, it's a bit pricy for what it is, but if it weren't for this game, I never would've known that the Switch 2 joycons have a new mouse mode
@CODENAMEsx11347 This was the mentality I had when I bought the Rayman 1 collection, and I got a buggy mess with a shitty βremadeβ soundtrack. I will not eat shit just for a chance at being served a steak. Just give me the steak.
@PoorlyAgedStuff Nah, those older 3D games are just plain ugly by today's standards. I think all the appreciation for that aesthetic nowadays is just nostalgia. There were later games even in that same generation that still look great today.
@LuckyStabbinHat@BrianNiemeier I played Mario 64 for the first time a few years ago, as an adult (I was a Playstation kid). And I think although the graphics haven't aged well, and the camera sometimes sucks, the gameplay itself is still arguably the best that 3D Mario has ever been.
